There's so many things to be fustrated about when you are not caring for your own baby and what you say doesnt stand anywhere. I have always been complaining about the food they placed into Daven's mouth, but I really have to admit that there are just things I have no control over now.
Can you imagine how Alice actually push EVERYTHING bad about Daven to his mother?
"Do you have skin problems when you were younger?" she came asking when Daven was having a skin problem. But it was actually due to his daddy's asthma when he was younger.
"What is that pimple doing on your face? It must be mommy eating so much potato chips while having you." And to think that they are actually feeding him these now.
Potato Chips, Pringles, Twisties, Gummy Bears, and even durian.
Now, Daven is having this very bad infection most probably because of the durian they gave him. (Jeremy got a slight one after eating too.) His mouth, full with ulcers in and out. Sometimes, he would just come to me to play and then, point to his mouth, "pain pain" and would try to touch his ulcers. The only thing I could do was to tell him, "I understand that it's painful (sign) but you shouldnt touch it. Why not we ...(maybe, play the bus or whatever)?"
That works well most of the time. He could be distracted for a minute or so. But I once saw BenBen pulling his hand away from his mouth, "Dont touch!", which made Daven so mad that he went yelling and crying. Well, I was right beside so I gave him a hug which calmed him really quickly before he could make a fuss.
Well, the point is there are so many things I wouldnt wanna feed to an infant, especially my child. I would even ask for fries without salt, and maybe even avoid outside food altogether (since you never know what they add in the food, or how they handle it). Of course I know being a full time mom is not that easy, but it shouldnt be that difficult too, if you set your priority and time right.
